This position is perfect for an experienced Estimator who's previously worked on high end multi million dollar residential projects.

My client specialises in creating outstanding architecturally  designed properties - they never build the same house twice which in turn means staff get to be involved in some really unique, one off projects.

Working within a small office environment in the South East, this position would be responsible for pricing up projects at tender stage and also keeping on top of costs during construction stage.

You must have a strong building background to be considered for this role as it is totally pivotal that you understand the entire construction process.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:

• Taking off drawings
• Producing BOQ's
• Drawing up tender estimates
• Contract administration
• Monitoring costs during the construction phase
• Site inspection and analysis

This is a pivotal role which ultimately will be contributing towards the generation of new projects for the business.

To be considered for this job you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be experienced with at least four years estimating experience under your belt
• Have worked in a similar role a for a custom builder
• Be able to understand working drawings
• A trade background or Cert IV/Diploma in Building/Design
• Experience using estimating software
• A strong eye for detail
• Happy to work as part of a small team
