Planning / Programme Manager - BASED BRISBANE My client a large mid tier contractor is looking for a Planning/ Programme Manager to join the business due to retirement. This excellent employer will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to become part of a growing business that is looking to grow exponentially over the coming years. With a varied and exciting workload covering all areas Infrastructure including roads, mining and some structures with typical with values from $50million - $200million, you will have exposure to some challenging projects. The key tasks of this role include: 1. Heading up the Planning department - reporting into the General Manager 2. Liaising with CEO, Business development, Estimating and operations departments 3. Manage a team of Planners on site whose key responsibilities are to: - Prepare expressions of interest submission programmes - Prepare tender methodologies - Prepare construction methodologies - Prepare construction programme - Prepare status reports 4. Manage the Primavera P6 roll out 5. Stand in for Project Planners when necessary 6. Mentor and train current staff 6. Input into business strategy at a Senior level Applicants will be responsible for the planning/programming department, where you will be mentoring the Construction Planners whilst also undertaking pre construction planning methodologies, and actively contributing to the strategic direction of the business with regards to the planning function.
