With a growing demand in this market the teams are growing in other states and are currently looking for someone in Perth to set up and manage the WA division. This position could possibly be set up out of the Melbourne Office also This role will need someone who has experience within the industry and is happy to work autonomously with limited supervision from the lead Director. The client is working within the cost management and estimating of projects. With around 1000 people in the group they cover many sectors in construction. With a strong presence also in Project management and engineering services their deliverance to their clients is second to none. The requirements for this role are: - Experience within a Commercial Contractor, Quantity Surveying practice or Engineering Consultancy
- Qualified Quantity surveyor or Engineering with 10-15 years experience
- Managed large building or civil engineering projects
- Ideally be a member of RICS or AIQS
- Experience in Building, Infrastructure, Resources and/or Oil and Gas sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Legal knowledge of the building industry in Australia
