This medium sized national QS consultancy has been operating in the Australian market place for nearly two decades. With a loyal base of clients covering the private sector and government bodies they are dedicated to providing the highest level of cost management services to the construction and property industry.

With a push to further enhance their NSW practice they are looking to bring in a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Sydney team.

You will be responsible for:

• Cost estimating from design phase
• Preparing Bills of Quantities
• Calculating and costing all variations
• Quotes and monitoring cost of materials
• Ensuring cost effectiveness on construction works
• Liaising with sub contractors, builders and project managers
• Attending meetings with the construction team
• Monitoring the calculation of timesheets, reviewing rates and visiting site to measure quantities
• Implementing efficient cost management processes and procedures
• Assistance with feasibilities as required

You need to demonstrate in your background:

• BSc Quantity Surveying or Construction Management/Economics
• Member of AIQS or RICS
• 5 - 10 years experience
• Excellent attitude to work
• Business acumen
• Excellent communication skills
