Lead Environmental Consultant / Manager 

Our client currently has experienced rapid growth in the areas of Mining Infrastructure, Rail & Transit, Ports & Marine and Urban Development & Land Management. This has created a brand new opportunity for an experienced Environmental Planning Leader to join their team. You will take an active role in building and developing front line Environment services to both internal and external clients. This is likely to be based around Environmental Planning but could also cover Ecology, Environmental Management, Environmental Monitoring, Contaminated Land Assessments, an other areas of Environmental Consulting.

The role can have either a Regional or a National remit depending upon the desire and the skills of the candidate. It is essential that you have delivered front line Environmental services on major infrastructure projects ideally in Rail, Ports or Mining.

This role is not just pure Business Development - there is a good range of work available immediately, however naturally you will need to possess all the attributes of a successful leader within a Consulting Engineering business. Therefore you will be able to technically deliver and review Environmental Approvals, Environmental Monitoring and Environmental Management Plans, etc. You will be an excellent communicator and will be sufficiently ambitious to build a team around you either from Perth or interstate.

All candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience and should have spent at least 4 years within a consultancy environment within Australia.
