design and manufacturing solutions for scientific and industrial research, tailored to their customers’ requirements. 
 
The Role
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing a range of industrial, scientific, special purpose mechanical projects.
Co-ordinate delivery and installation of technical equipment and systems and commissioning activities.
This will involve working with clients to provide design, planning, scheduling and execution on small projects.
Working with members of the Physics and Science teams to troubleshoot immediate performance issues of the systems.

The Requirements
To be successful you should fulfill most of the following requirements:
 
Have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Instrument Design
Design of complex Mechanical systems using Solid Edge or similar package
Writing of technical specifications based on concept designs
Develop and prepare 3D solid Models
Possess strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Be a dynamic individual who wants to develop their career

This role is initially for 6 months but may lead to a permanent position in 2012.
