Civil Project Engineer - Mining Infrastructure
One of the well known local Civil and Mining Infrastructure Contractor within NSW is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background of both Civil and Mining infrastructure construction experience.
Due to a number of new projects on the horizon based across the Hunter Valley (between Singleton & Muswellbrook), this contractor is looking to make a key appointment for a Project Engineer to help deliver a number of projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4-8 years experience as a Project Engineer ideally working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor within Australia
- Experience of delivering both mining infrastructure and civil projects ideally in NSW or across Australia
- Hold a degree / tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have a thorough understanding of all Safety, Environment and Quality systems, standards and procedures
- ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LIVING IN THE HUNTER VALLEY REGION OR GENUINELY LOOKING TO RELOCATE THERE
Main responsibilities would include:
- Helping the Project Manager to deliver the project(s) to time, budget and programme constraints and objectives
- Ensure all project programs are up to date and report on all costs, performance and key objectives
- Ensure all site activities are being executed according to program, company standards and client principles
- Ensure all OH&S, Quality and Environmental standards are being adhered to
