With a company record going back over 100 years, my client is a leader in the Melbourne transport, property and water markets. They have a multidisciplinary focus in the sectors of transport, property, water and environmental consulting, and their experience in property includes both building structures and building services. Due to a strong work pipeline they have a new opportunity for a BIM Manager to join their growing Melbourne Property team.
In this role you will need to hit the ground running in terms of implementing Revit and BIM across the Property business. You will work with leadership to develop BIM implementation strategies, training plans, and new processes.
You will also manage, plan, resource and complete assigned projects for the Melbourne Property Team. You will provide leadership in terms of Revit and BIM, and assist with the resolution of technical issues. You will create and ensure compliance with standards, and manage the interface with other disciplines, clients and subcontractors.
We are looking for people with at least 10 years experience in a project delivery environment, with the ability to develop designs from concept to detailed BIM models. You'll also need the ability to lead a team, have excellent attention to detail skills, and the ability to think in an innovative way. You'll also have extensive experience with Revit, and have similar experience implementing Revit and BIM in large organisations.
This consultancy is professional, team oriented and friendly, and innovative in their thinking to deliver client solutions. This is a great opportunity for a BIM Manager to step into a leadership role in a large multidisciplinary organisation. Here you can broaden your industry exposure through the company's professional development activities, and mentoring from industry technical leaders. They offer extensive training and support to staff including a formalised career structure, a national well-being program and free professional memberships. The environment is fun, friendly and laid-back with an active social club but is large enough to provide the opportunities you need to ensure your professional development, including support from senior management as well as peers across other Australian offices.
Take your career to the next level and apply today - undertake a major BIM implementation and make a real difference to the Property team.
