Design & Build are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified Drainage Engineers who are presently seeking a long-term contract opportunity within local government.  Located in North Melbourne, within close proximity to public transport, this opportunity will suit a seasoned civil engineer who is currently considering a move into a senior role offering work flexibility and a supportive team environment.    
 
As a senior member of staff, reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager you will be expected to provide advice, assessment and guidance to a range of stakeholders in relation to drainage issues and complaints, as well as providing computer aided design and drafting as required.
 
The successful candidate will preferably have had exposure working within local government coupled with a sound understanding of WSUD.  Excellent analytical, problem solving, technical and communication skills are essential.
 
This contract is an immediate opportunity offering employment for the next 4 months with the option for a further extension or permanent engagement.
