Design & Build are currently inviting applications for the position of Road Maintenance Team Leader for a regional council located in north Victoria.  This permanent opportunity, working within the Public Works Division, will see you perform a pivotal role in leading, coordinating and managing a team of thirty staff in the effective and efficient completion of road maintenance works. 
 
Reporting to the Public Works Manager, you will be expected to compile work programs to deliver road maintenance and road related infrastructure to ensure compliance with Council’s Road Management Plan, Road Maintenance Service Level Agreement and in accordance with associated budgets. 
 
Requirements include:
 
·         Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar discipline and/or substantial relevant roads experience
·         Sound supervision skills, in particular with matters associated with OHS, Environmental Management, Quality and Risk Management
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·         Victorian Drivers Licence
