The Client
A unique opportunity has presented itself to join a manufacturer of specialist mining equipment. Joining their Technical team in supporting their operations across Australia and Asia. You will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and be challenged and rewarded in cross cultural environments.

The Role
You will work closely with the manufacturing centre and providing technical expertise to a wide geographical area. You will provide expert technical advice and support to internal businesses whilst interacting with operational customers and suppliers. You will develop the manufacturing processes, whilst transferring existing manufacturing processes from Global to regional facilities.

• Ensuring conformance to SHE standards and supporting the manufacturing technology
• Supporting the Australia/Asia business units & manufacturing teams in product & process requirements
• Mentoring and developing the technology awareness knowledge of their manufacturing technology to the regional stakeholders
• Providing support on manufacturing improvement projects
• Conducting safety audits on improvement projects
• Developing strong working relationships with regional stakeholders

The Candidate
You will hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic engineering; have sound experience in the design, maintenance and/or manufacture of complex special purpose machinery. 
You will possess exceptional communication skills with an ability to think pro actively. Ideally you will possess 3-5 years experience specifically in the design and development of special purpose machinery.

Candidates with experience in Pharma, Food or Automotive backgrounds would be favoured for this role.
