Just short of 2 years into his career here at Design & Build, we’re thrilled to announce that Teddy Murphy has been promoted to Senior Consultant. Let’s hear a little from Teddy about why he chose Design & Build, what the promotion means to him and where his career is heading...
Why join Design & Build?
For me, I chose to join Design & Build as I wanted to work with colleagues (who would become close friends) who share the same drive as I do and who genuinely want the best for each other. It’s also great to work in an environment that promotes efficient working and a healthy work/life balance which can be rare to come across in the recruitment industry.
Teddy has fantastic knowledge of the Civil & Surveying markets across Victoria and has received excellent feedback time and time again from his clients and candidates. He is an excellent influence to his colleagues and thoroughly deserves his promotion.
Cameron Rosie, Engineering Team Leader

Feels good to know that my approach is working and valued by my employer, colleagues, clients and candidates. I am looking forward to taking on more responsibility and continue to add value to my growing network.
Over the last 2 years Teddy has consistently demonstrated our core values and none more so than in the feedback he has received from his candidates and clients alike. It’s great to see Teddy to continue to progress in his role and his promotion is well deserved.
