What a way to start 2021! A big congratulations to one of our super-star Melbourne construction consultants Lauren Rogers, who has been promoted to team leader. Despite only being at Design and Build for two years, Lauren has left a considerable mark on the business; she's arranged 323 client/candidate interviews, received over 177 Recruitment Insider candidate reviews with an average score of 95.83.
Not only do these achievements demonstrate why Lauren is so deserving of her joining the D&B leadership team but show why she is trusted by our key stakeholders; our clients, our candidates and our colleagues. We caught up with Lauren this week to find out a little more about why she chose Design and Build and what this promotion means to her.
Why Did You Join Design & Build?
I knew they had a strong reputation for being specialists in the construction industry and their vision to be the most trusted recruitment agency really resonated with me. I wanted to join a company that prioritise doing right by their candidates and clients which I believe D&B genuinely do. Working alongside a team of supportive and passionate individuals, where we can have a laugh in the office and celebrate success together is definitely important to me too.

What Does This Promotion Mean To You?
It's a really exciting time, especially after the year that has been. I'm grateful for the opportunity to further develop myself as a leader and mentor to my team, whilst still being hands-on with recruiting for my key clients in the residential market.
