Addressing the limited opportunities provided to female talent within the Built Environment Industry and how this impacts overall attraction and retention
A key finding within our research was the challenges our female respondents felt they faced when trying to develop and progress their careers. In a survey reaching out to our Linkedin network, 41% of respondents listed a lack of opportunity as the biggest challenge they faced in their current job within the built environment industry.
Furthermore, within the responses from our female respondents, many felt that they were often being overlooked for promotion or career opportunities despite feeling like they were as equally qualified as their male counterparts.
