Design & Build Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator or established Contracts Manager to join our clients national head D&C commercial construction business.
The successful applicant will form part of our client’s commercial construction team based in Brisbane. This role is due to project wins and business growth. Terrific tenure within the business and team.

Role Overview:
As Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial, contractual, and operational success of up to 2 projects. Your strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation skills will be critical in driving profitability, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring project delivery within budget and timeline. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and achieving our client’s goals. This role reports directly into Senior Leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective commercial strategies to maximise project profitability.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage procurement, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for additional value.
- Collaborate with project teams to oversee cost forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making.
- Brisbane based.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial construction sector.
- Experience with projects in excess of $50M.
- Leadership experience, capable of motivating and working collaboratively in a high-performing team.
