Design & Build seeking an experienced Foreman
to oversee day-to-day site operations on both remedial and residential construction projects in Sydney.
This position is looking for a Foreman to work across residential apartment blocks and single dwelling building. Our client can commit to an initial 3 month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trades, ensuring safety compliance, managing timelines, and maintaining the highest quality of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site works, subcontractors, and trades
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Enforce safety procedures and site regulations (WHS)
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and team members
- Maintain detailed site records, daily reports, and progress documentation
- Assist with procurement and delivery of materials as required
- Proven experience as a Foreman in remedial and/or residential construction
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods
- Ability to lead and motivate a team on-site
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Trade qualification or relevant certifications preferred
- White Card and valid driver's license required
