Junior Project Developer

A leading international renewable developer is seeking an early-career professional to support the development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Australia.

The successful candidate will assist with project identification, technical and commercial assessments, grid connection activities, planning and environmental approvals, financial modelling, stakeholder engagement, and development risk management. 

Ideal Background

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Finance, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering consulting, energy advisory, project development, or a similar field.
• Exposure to solar, battery storage, or other energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience with GIS tools, technical assessments, data analysis, and financial modelling.
• Understanding of grid connection processes, planning approvals, environmental considerations, and project development activities.
• Knowledge of commercial agreements such as land access, utility arrangements, or energy offtake contracts is advantageous.
