Design & Build Recruitment is collaborating with a renewable energy developer to expand their grid connection engineering team, focusing on utility-scale solar and BESS projects throughout Australia.
This is a perfect opportunity for a Power Systems Engineer with a couple of years of experience who is looking to advance their career within a developer environment and gain hands-on experience with actual renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support grid connection activities across utility-scale solar and BESS projects
- Assist with power system studies and technical assessments
- Support GPS and connection application processes
- Work closely with AEMO, NSPs, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to technical documentation and project delivery activities
- 2+ years of experience within the Australian energy market
- Exposure to grid connection or power systems engineering
- Experience using PSCAD and/or PSS®E
- Understanding of the NEM and NER frameworks
- Engineering degree qualifications
