Site Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to work with our client on a number of fit out projects between Brisbane and Gold Coast. With a large pipeline of work in the mix, this a role suited for someone wanting longevity and to work with a well respected Tier 2 company. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Implement and maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and site records.
- Provide clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and control project costs, including procurement, tracking expenses, and monitoring budget allocation.
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project, fostering positive relationships with all parties involved.
- Ensure the project is handed over smoothly, conducting final inspections, snagging, and documentation processes.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on Commercial Fit Out projects $5M - $25M
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
- QBCC licence
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Sound understanding of project management principles, including cost control, scheduling, and quality management.
- Any other relevant qualifications, certifications, and licenses are highly desirable.
