The company and benefits:

This company is expanding their project portfolio across Sydney and the Central Coast. They've been around for 7+ years and operate out of their Lidcombe office. 
The company develops medium-rise unit buildings. They have a team of 3 currently: the director, DM and ADM. 
Due to a few projects being in construction or near completion, they need the assistance of an Assistant Project Manager to take projects through the construction and delivery stage, alongside the Director. 
Good progression into more senior roles as the business expands further. 
Monday to Friday role, good culture and exposure to various project lifecycles.

The Role:
  • Assist the Development manager where needed to achieve the group goals and KPIs
  • Management of building contractor / nominated sub-contractors and equipment suppliers where required.
  • Assist in the assessment of claims, variations, or extensions to contracts and any other contract admin matters
  • Day to day administration of contract terms and conditions
  • Collate and prepare relevant documentation including project close out documents and completion certificates
  • Regular site visits and site condition reports, ensuring what has been designed is being built
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed through regular, clear reporting
  • Draft and update the monthly report to record the project progress, including cost control and defect register and any other issue that to be highlighted.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status and provide input for financial reports
  • Assist in creating and maintain Feasibility studies for current and upcoming projects
  • Update all schedules as needed Assist in creating tender packs, which include but are not limited to collating the contract and relative documents, certificates and drawings as required
  • Create, request, update and status construction and development programs
Your background: 
  • Contractor side in a CA role is preferrable 
  • Degree in construction, project management or engineering 
  • Ability to work in a small team and assist everyone across the board, from development to project management
