Job Description

Building Support Coordinator:

A brilliant opportunity to join Australia’s largest home builder and work with the Melbourne Metro site team. You will be supporting the site team and working closely with the Site Manager through the process of building their customers dream homes from construction to settlement. 

Reporting to the Building Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Being the 'middle person' and main liaising point between the construction team and client
  • Regularly updating clients on the status of their home during the building process
  • Maintaining and updating customer files with relevant contract, variations and other required documentation
  • Make sure all relevant documentation including compliance certificates are provided within deadlines to nominated Building Inspector
  • Managing workflow and completing tasks in a timely manner as they arise
  • Coordinate the services (gas, electric)  
  • Data entry; ensuring all clients files, details and reports are up to date

The successful applicant will need to posses the following:
  • At least two years experience working in an administration role in the building industry
  • Residential builder experience is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a customer focused role with conflict and problem management focus
  • Proven ability to work in a customer service environment where you are dealing with conflict and managing numerous clients at the same time
  • Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
  • Be a team player with fantastic relationship building and communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft WORD EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills.
