Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a number of Civil Designer positions for a Leading specialist Engineering Consultancy across Urban Development projects.

Our client can offer a cracking range of projects and have a solid reputation in the market, they can offer their staff attractive packages and invest in their progression.

Responsibilities of the 12D Civil Designer will include:
  • Conceptual design and feasibility studies, detailed design, contract administration and construction supervision.
  • Liaise with local councils and other authorities in respect with the preparation of designs and approval processes
  • Ensure company and client deadlines, commitments and expectations are met 
To be considered for the role of Civil 12D Designer, you will:
  • Min 5 years’ experience in the design of urban/land development projects including drainage, roads and earthworks
  • Even better if you've also had experience with retaining walls
  • Skilled and experienced in DRAINS and 12D model design 
  • Excellent knowledge of Austroads, Australian Standards & Council design standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand and have design capability, demonstrating creativity, foresight, and mature judgement in anticipating and solving design issues.
  • Ensure company and client deadlines, commitments and expectations are met
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent
