Job Description
We are offering chance for a Commercial Lead / Contracts Manager to join one of Australia's highest profile renewable energy projects and play a part in its successful delivery
As the Commercial Lead / Contracts Manager you will join a world class commercial team and be responsible for the management of major subcontractor packages
These are long term positions, on 14:7 FIFO roster.
Responsibilities includes:
- Leadership & mentoring a team of Contracts Administrator
- Ownership of subcontracts and ensuring successful delivery
- Management of variations and claims
- Champion the proactive management of resolving risks
- Work with contracts manager on potential upstream claims
- Ensure compliance to Security of Payment Act & Building Code
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or Construction Management
- 10+ years experience in the engineering and construction industry.
- Experience working for a contractor in site-based roles.
- Experience in managing subcontractors.
