Job Description

Our client has been operating in the Melbourne construction market and is well respected for it's on time builds and within budget philosophy. Due to a upturn in work they now require a contracts administrator to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will have around 3 years post graduate experience with a similar builder in Melbourne.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator will be:
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiate and finalise subcontracts
  • Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administer the project HSE system.
To be considered for the position of Contracts Administrator you will require:
  • Tertiary qualified in construction, engineering, accounting or QS or a related degree or with the equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
  • Proven track record on Commercial projects 
  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator (over a period of 3 years at this level)
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy
  • You will also be a team player with excellent problem solving ability and attention to detail.
