The Company:

My client are one of Melbourne's most award-winning custom home designers and builders. They specialise in creating unique high-end homes ranging from $1Mil - $3Mil in value.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the administration and client relationship management throughout the whole building process from sale acceptance to handover.

Your duties will include;
  • Proactively and regularly communicating with clients as to the progress of their projects, setting clear expectations to clients and delivering on the expectations set. 
  • Obtaining all necessary approvals in a timely manner including Developer Approval, Report & Consent, Planning Permit, Building Permit, PIC etc
  • Setting clear expectations with internal resources (design, drafting, estimating etc) and holding accountable for delivery in line with the expectations set
  • Preparing estimating file containing all relevant project documentation including all PCVs
  • Preparing site files for Site Manager complete with all current project documentation and ensuring estimating has released appropriate purchase orders
  • Cost Management 
  • Assisting Site & Construction Managers to resolve client queries, contractual queries, ambiguities when required in relation to your project

About You:

  • Previous experience working for a residential builder in a similar role essential 
  • At least 2 years of high level coordination whether that be in estimating or drafting.
  • Town-planning and permits exposure
  • Excellent customer service manner
  • Excellent time-management and administration skills 
  • Be a team-player who builds internal and external relationships with ease
  • Fantastic organisation skills and attention to detail 
  • Be and approachable, positive and motivated character with a genuine passion for the building industry
