Founded in 2012, my client has a strong reputation within Western Australia's civil construction industry servicing a niche market. With a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across Western Australia, some of the clients include the PTA, Local Councils and the Water Corporation. 
About the role: 
The Contract Administrator is responsible to the Construction Manager for the effective management of contracts from procurement to close-out, through coordination with design, buying, quantity surveying and project managers to ensure targets are met in terms of safety, programme, quality, optimizing resource use, and achieving target returns.
The Contracts Administrator also provides support for project managers with commercials and procurement during the project execution phase, and collates project cost and financial data to develop monthly project valuation and cost reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake consultation with stakeholders to determine and document any factors that may affect the procurement process.
  • Maintain records and provide reports on the procurement process.
  • Identify legislation, public sector standards and organizational
    requirements relating to probity, financial management, approvals and
    other considerations for inclusion in the contract management plan.
  • Identify commercial, probity and procurement risks relating to the
    procurement activity.
  • Monitor performance of contract against key performance indicators and tracking milestones, to ensure obligations under the agreement are being met

Required experiences:
  • Experience working on Civil Construction Projects
  • Previous experience of and negotiation of Subcontractor Agreements
  • Draft, issue and management of Extension of Time
  • Draft, issue and management of Notice of Delays
