Job Description

Our client is one of Australia's leading construction companies with a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential & government projects up to $350M, and a strong pipeline of upcoming work over the coming years.

This established organization has multiple vacancies for Contracts Administrators to join their team and work on a variety of projects. This is a great opportunity for you to gain exposure to a leading Tier 2 Builder whose name is renowned in the industry for being one of the best.
  
As the Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for:
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system
To be considered for the position of Contracts Administrator you will require:
  • Tertiary qualification in in Construction Management / Building / Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' post-graduate experience 
  • Experience of working on projects of at least $50M in value 
  • Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
  • Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
  • Proven industry experience on $30m+ projects
  • Previous experience managing sub contractors with programming, supervision and contracts administration
  • Jobpac experience ideal however not essential 
  • Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with sub contractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety and time requirements
