The role is a project based safety coordinator on an upcoming large scale project of $200-400M in value

The role
Liaising with the project manager, site leadership and the EHS manager, the coordinator will successfully implement safety systems, policies and procedures within the project's employees and subcontractors.

Duties include
  • Incident management 
  • Site inductions (plant/personnel/equipment) 
  • SWMS development with subcontractors and employees 
  • Internal site auditing 
  • Tool box meetings and training with employees and subcontractors 
  • EHS reviews
  • Site walks / inspections 
  • Accurate EHS reporting 
  • Establishment and maintenance of risk registers,
You: 
  • Experience on tier 2 or large scale projects $50M + OR have at least 3 years experience as an advisor/coordinator within the tier 3 sector
  • 2+ years experience within a EHS/HSEQ coordinator role within the commercial market, with at least 5 year's within a construction related role  
  • Cert III OHS minimum 
  • Senior first aid (or be willing to obtain)
