Job Description

THE BUILDER 

The client is a construction contractor who are well established in Melbourne. Based in Greensborough, they are a young, vibrant team who can offer a great company culture. Perks of the role include; bring your dog to work day on Fridays, regular social events, personal development and support. Working on a range of projects from high end residential to commercial projects. This is great opportunity for an established estimator to join the team and progress their career. 

The responsibility of the post holder will include:

- Estimation and cost planning of construction projects ranging from high end residential ($2-3m) commercial projects ranging from aged care to food retail outlets
- Tender preparation 
- Dealing with trades and arranging quotes
- Reporting to the Project Manager

To be considered for the role of Estimator you must:

- Have at least two years post graduate experience as an Estimator
- Have experience of construction projects valued up to at least $5mil
- Have strong cost management skills
- Be confident liaising with architects, engineers and other consultants
- Be skilled at interpreting technical drawings
- A 'team player' mentality. 

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of $85,000 to $110,000 package depending on experience. This is a full time, permanent position.
