Job Description

My client is a construction contractor who are well established in Melbourne. They are looking for a full time Estimator to join their successful team, working out of offices located in Melbourne's northern suburbs. As a business they undertake commercial projects such as refurbishment and new build, works normally below $7mil. They also win a lot of government projects.

Responsibilities:

- Estimation and cost planning of construction projects
- Tender preparation 
- Dealing with trades and arranging quotes
- Reporting to the Managing Director who is heavily involved in estimating

To be considered for the role of Estimator you must:

- Have at least three years post graduate experience as an Estimator
- Have at least two years experience of the Melbourne construction market
- Have experience of construction projects valued up to at least $5mil
- Have strong cost management skills
- Be confident liaising with architects, engineers and other consultants

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of $70,000 to $120,000 package depending on experience. This is a full time, permanent position.
