The Company

Due to consistent success, there is an outstanding opportunity for an Estimator experienced in HVAC to join the growing team and take the lead of job specifications and tenders.  

The Role

As the HVAC Estimator, you will be reporting directly to the managing Director. You will be responsible for ownership and the management of new business through successful tenders and quote submissions. You will also be:
  • Estimating – obtaining quotes, doing take offs and have a sound understanding of the slightest variances in tender specific drawings
  • Writing handover manuals for systems installed, variations and site management plans (document control)
  • Scheduling and ensuring that all projects are being managed closely, ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner whilst falling within budget
  • Drafting – the design of sketches, basic shop drawings and schematics
  • RFQ’s – responding to all requested quotes in a timely manner to ensure successful bids and tenders
  • Management of existing relationships with key stakeholders and construction partners

To be considered for the Site Manager role you will ideally have:

  • 5 years experience as a HVAC Estimator working on commercial projects
  • A fantastic understanding of HVAC systems and equipment
  • An excellent personable approach and great customer relation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Clear organisation skills and working knowledge of a variety of software skills including Word, Excel and AutoCAD
  • Previous experience in heat load calculations like CAMEL would be preferred but not essential
