Job Description

The Role
Our client is a national construction company who are currently experiencing a period of growth across their business. As a result of this growth and pipeline of ongoing projects they have created a new and exciting opportunity for a Finance Coordinator to join their dynamic, friendly team in Sydney!
You will be responsible of the day to day running of the finance function and continuous process improvement projects:
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Full function AP/AR
  • Payroll
  • Prepare Financial and Management reports
  • Main point of contact for all finance related queries
  • Implement processes and educate staff on systems
  • System improvement projects - dashboarding, cost centres etc
  • Continuous improvement of processes to ensure streamlined reporting and invoicing
The Candidate
To be considered for interview, you must have:
  • 5 + years' experience in a similar role
  • Must have recent experience in construction or engineering
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Strong experience improving and implementing new systems and processes
  • High aptitude for learning new computer packages and optimising their potential
  • You will have recent experience with  Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
