Our client is a leading developer builder who has been operating for nearly 20 years and specialise in commercial multi-res projects up to $100M. With an expanding portfolio and solid pipeline of projects, we are recruiting an experienced General Foreman to join their Sunshine Coast team
 
Responsibilities include
  • Management of site trades and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated, practical construction site management/ supervision experience & knowledge, in delivering similar projects.
  • Coordination of all site logistics, material delivery and resource allocation
  • Strong understandings and knowledge of building regulations
  • Implementation of OH&S policies 
  • Ensuring adherence to plans and specifications 
About you
To be successful in your application you will have similar project experience working for a principal contractor or developer builder.
You will have strong communication, construction knowledge and organisational skills.
  
It will be essential for you to have an open and collaborative style that allows you to build good working relationships with external and internal stake holders
  
Qualifications & Required Experience:
  • Delivering multi-million $ projects within the commercial construction sector
  • QBCC licensed (ideal but not essential) 
  • The ability to work to and meet deadlines
  • Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
  • Rapport-building and key stakeholder liaison skills
  • Work closely with Site Manager to ensure project momentum whilst coordinating daily site activities
  • Advocate and empower high performing safety and quality expectations across the site project team and subcontractors
