Job Description

Our client is one of Australia's leading construction companies with a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, education & health projects up to $350M, and a strong pipeline of upcoming work over the coming years.

This is a great opportunity for you to gain exposure to a leading Tier 2 Builder whose name is renowned in the industry for being one of the best.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:
  • Pre-starts, site safety walks & inspections
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
  • Ensure legislation is adhered to
  • Investigate and report on any incidents
  • Provide training to team members
  • Conduct reviews and risk analysis
  • Manage and develop relationships with employees and subcontractors
To be considered for the role,  you will require:
  • Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
  • 5+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role working for a head contractor
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects $30M+
  • Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadline
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication & problem solving skills
