Job Description
This is a site based safety role working on a new build Industrial project. This is a great opportunity for you to gain exposure to a leading Tier 2 Builder whose name is renowned in the industry for being one of the best.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Pre-starts, site safety walks & inspections
- Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
- Ensure legislation is adhered to
- Investigate and report on any incidents
- Provide training to team members
- Conduct reviews and risk analysis
- Manage and develop relationships with employees and subcontractors
- Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
- 2+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role working for a head contractor
- Experience working on commercial construction projects $20M+
- Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadline
- Time management skills
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
