Job Description
This role requires a candidate who has extensive experience in the Residential Development space and who also holds experience in applying accredited HSE Management Systems in project environments, i.e AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Pre-starts, site safety walks & inspections
- Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
- Ensure legislation is adhered to
- Investigate and report on any incidents
- Provide training to team members
- Conduct reviews and risk analysis
- Manage and develop relationships with employees and subcontractors
The ideal candidate will hold the following:
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS
- Experience working on large-scale residential developments is advantageous
- Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
- Well organised with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines
- Time management skills
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
