Company

Our client is a leading builder developer who has been operating for nearly 20 years and specialise in commercial multi-res projects up to $100M. With an expanding portfolio and solid pipeline of projects, we are recruiting an experienced HSE Advisor.

Responsibilities include
  • Overall implementation / coordination of WHSE Management System.
  • Provide ongoing education / mentoring to staff on their WHSE responsibilities / functions.
  • Facilitate consultation in workplace WHSE.
  • Provide advice, strategies and problem solving to site and project personnel on all health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Take the lead role in investigation of injuries, incidents and near miss events, including recommending improvements at both a site level and corporate improvements.
  • Be point of contact for all staff as well as government bodies in relation to health and safety procedures, standards and compliance. This includes changes to work practices, procedures or equipment.
The ideal candidate will hold the following
  • Minimum Cert IV in WHS
  • Experience working on similar projects $20M+ is advantageous 
  • Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
  • Well organised with a high attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
