The Company:
Our client is a well established construction company and a market leader in their field. Their IT function is constantly growing and evolving and due to this growth this group now has a requirement for an additional IT Support Technician to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. 

The Job
Reporting to the IT Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Be the point of contact for all IT support related issues
  • Managing a workload of incident tickets 
  • Responding to helpdesk enquiries and rectifying all issues in an efficient and timely manner
  • Performing network administration duties such as configuring switches, firewalls, IP routing, network security and VLAN’s
  • Administration and organisation of desktop computers 
  • Assist with research, planning and implementation of IT projects
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An IT related degree or qualification
  • 2+ years in a similar level 2 role 
  • Strong understanding of Windows Servers 2012/2016, Windows 10, Office 365, MDM, Active Directory
  • A proven ability to troubleshoot networking devices e.g. routers, firewalls, switches, etc
  • Network administration skills in VPN’s, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory
  • Proficiency with switches, firewalls, IP routing, network security, VOIP, and VLAN’s
  • Familiarity with Cloud, including Azure, Office 365, AWS
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
