Job Description

Due to consistent growth in the team, my client is looking for a Junior BIM Coordinator ideally with some experience within structural engineering, infrastructure OR BIM, who is eager to learn and assist in the delivery of projects across NSW.

What you'll be doing:
  • Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution;
  • Develop strong working knowledge of company standards and project specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to support implementation of these plans;
  • Coordinate the production of project BIM deliverables including models that are accurate, clear and concise, compliant with company standards, best practice and any other standards dictated by the nature of the project;
  • Develop awareness of the engineering design intent to ensure models developed are consistent 
  • Develop awareness of the client’s intended end uses of models developed and identify any improvements with modelling/BIM processes to better align with those end uses;
  • Coordinate content, timing and integration of individual BIM models from all disciplines into wider federated BIM model;
What you've got:
  • Minimum 2 yrs+ BIM experience in a project delivery environment
  • A solid understanding of REVIT structure
  • The ability to develop designs from concept to detailed BIM models
  • An eagerness to learn from some of the best
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of the business
