Job Description

Design and Build are working with a builder who are rapidly growing their project portfolio who are seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join the team.

Working across Commercial and Mix use projects up to $100m across NSW and VIC. They are looking for someone who is driven and passionate and enjoys working in a team. This position will see you based out of the office working Monday to Friday. 

Roles & responsibilities of the role include:
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system
To be considered for the position:
  • Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator for a Head Contractor in Australia
  • Experience of working on Commercial/ Residential projects in Australia
  • Knowledge of NSW construction market and subcontractors
  • Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
