Job Description

Our client is one of the largest providers of contract cleaning services Nationally, servicing a diverse range of industry sectors including government, education, health, retail, manufacturing and commercial. As a result of continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager of Operations in their Sydney office.

This dynamic role will see you overseeing a large team of both contractors and permanent staff across Sydney. This is a varied role that will see you being responsible for all operational aspects within the Sydney arm of the business as well as maintaining strong relationships with Key Accounts across a variety of sectors and multiple sites.

The successful Key Account Director will have the following experience:
  • Substantial prior experience working within the cleaning industry
  • Extensive staff management experience
  • Actively maintain compliance with WHS obligations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, planning, time management, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability maintaining & delivering on all monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Extensive experience managing commercial contracts
  • Previous experience in the development of employee rosters and interpreting job (contract) requirements.
  • A high level of comfort with the MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including administration, training of staff and reporting
In the role of Key Account Director you will be responsible for:
  • Staff supervision, mentoring and management
  • Compliance and WHS across the business
  • General and financial reporting
  • Negotiating and executing commercial contracts
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with Key Accounts 
  • Increasing value add to existing clients and up-selling of services
