Job Description

Managing Estimator - Sales and Production 

An immediate requirement for an experienced Managing Estimator working for a residential builder who have been constructing homes for many years in Australia. With offices in NSW, QLD and SA this is a fantastic time to join their growing operations

Responsibilities will include:
  • Estimating in a project homes and medium density setting 
  • Leading a team producing sales and production estimates for tendering purposes 
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotes and competitive pricing
  • Providing assistance to the estimating team with daily queries and providing orders to the site managers
  • Producing production budgets and bills of quantities 
  • Prepare contract variations including the need to liaise directly with clients prior to any work taking place on site
Before you apply you will need to check you meet the following criteria:
  • Previous experience of working as an Estimator within residential construction and project homes. Management experience 
  • Ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification relevant to the role within the construction industry
  • You'll have strong computer skills 
  • Strong software skills
  • It's essential that you have a good eye for detail
  • On site building and construction experience
  • Good knowledge of Australian Construction Standards
