Job Description

Based in Sydney, our client are leaders in delivering design-led built environments in architecture, interior and urban design projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. They have a dynamic, highly skilled team of architects and interior designers and work across a variety of project types. Their multi-skilled team allows us to cover projects in sizes ranging from small single dwellings to multi-residential, office fitouts, education, commercial buildings, hospital and healthcare facilities and data centres. 
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Be a part of creative projects, pitching, and work alongside some superb Senior interior designers who will mentors you to become a successful interior designer.
  • Develop designs that suit both the client and the characteristics of a building or space
  • Help with the preparation of all design submissions and documentation, coordinating with senior designers and additional design support may be required
  • Meeting with clients and other tradespeople.
  • Developing designs according to a brief that are functional, appealing, and appropriate for the space
  • Using design software to create floor plans, 3D models, visuals, and presentation submissions
  • Ensure all designs proposed are compliant and work towards ‘best practice
   REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mid-level with at least 4 years’ experience
  • Experience in all aspects of the project – concept design/documentation/ on-site collaboration with trades
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Commercial project experience 
  • Strong all-rounder 
  • Strong ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • An understanding of building construction
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite
