Mid-Level Interior Designer – 4-6 years’ experience

  • Melbourne CBD
  • Full-Time role  
  • Established firm with over 30 years experience in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects including residential, commercial, sports and retail.
  • This is a great opportunity to secure a full-time role in a creative and supportive company
Candidates must possess the following skills:
  • Ability to work and learn within a vibrant, collaborative design team
  • Ability to self-manage time, projects and clients
  • Knowledge of local suppliers, interior trends and design theory
  • All-round project experience – concept design through to on-site experience –with a portfolio of work from previous projects. This role is largely front-facing, however, construction/documentation knowledge is a strength.
  • Experience dealing with and presenting directly to clients regularly
  • Experience with project delivery
  • Ability to efficiently interpret concept/sketch plans and to develop initial stage work into a full set of documentation, including details and schedules
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCad, with Revit a strong advantage
  • Ability to use Adobe Suite programs, with 3D modelling a strong advantage (SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion etc)
  • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills (can be digital)
  • Ability to prepare documentation in accordance with timelines set by management.
  • Great communicator with an open-minded and positive attitude, who will get along with all tiers of the management and project team
  • Someone who has initiative, passion and drive
