Mining Surveyor 
  
My client based in NSW are looking for a Mining Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years open cut coal mining experience to join their team.
  
The firm is a multi-disciplinary organisation providing clients with premium quality surveying, town planning, design and project management services. They have built a good reputation for being capable and experienced and have an ambitious team who work with all the latest equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Engineering Surveyor will include: 
  • Permanent position - working on contract mining projects (DIDO) in NSW and to be based in their main office in between contracts
  • Conduct daily surveys
  • Perform fieldwork, calculations, data reduction and manipulation
  • All aspects of Surveying using the latest technology including GPS. 
  • Working both autonomously and managing a small team of colleagues
  • Work within a time frame to ensure on time completion of projects
  • Proficiently manage survey equipment and software
To be considered for the role of Engineering Surveyor, you will need:
  • Must have 3+ years open cut mining experience 
  • Must have experience using Trimble and vulcan 
  • Experience using drones and laser scanning highly regarded 
  • Have a "can do" attitude with a real understanding of commercial urgency and customer service
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal with both colleagues and clients
  • Current driving licence
