Job Description

Site Manager - Insurance

Our client specializes in domestic building maintenance and repairs following insurable events such as fire, storm or water damage.

They are now looking to recruit a Licensed Builder for their Mackay Operations. 

The role:
  • Supervise jobs ranging in value from $1500 - $100K
  • This is a management position and requires no hands on work
  • Engage, coordinate and manage trades
  • Communicate and negotiate with trades to track the process of jobs
  • Liaise between insurance company and insured party
  • Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
  • Manage restoration & repair jobs
  • Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Resolve any problems
The requirements:
  • A trade background in Carpentry 
  • QLD Builders License
  • Experience in a similar supervisory role managing multiple jobs is beneficial but not essential
  • Insurance building background would be advantageous
  • Residential or commercial building experience would be considered
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time
  • Be familiar with OHS practices and regulations
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skill
  • A full driving license
