About the Role
This Engineering Consultancy firm is in its infancy stages and required an operational whiz to support the current engineers with the day to day running of the business. This key role within the team will assist the companies foreseeable growth over 2022-23 and see you as a key member of the team. You will join their close-knit team and own all processes across;
  • Accounting related duties such as;
    • Data entry of Accounts Payable & Receivables within relative  accounting software
    • Maintaining cashflow reports
    • Reconciling credit cards
    • Setting up projects, managing budgets and maintaining project management spreadsheets
  • Administrative & Operational duties such as;
    • General front-of-house greeting of visitors, answering phones, mail distribution
    • Office management including utilities, organization & supplies
    • General reporting
    • Assisting across insurance management
  • Business Development duties such as;
    • Developing proposals & templates
    • Designing marketing collateral
    • Researching and identifying business opportunities through Government & Commercial websites
    • Managing business’ social media presence
About You
You will be an independent self-starter who is driven by the ability to grow a new business through the designing of processes & procedures. You will also possess;
  • Tertiary qualifications in administration, marketing, communications or relative
  • 3-5+ years experience within a similar role within the Engineering or Architecture Industry is essential
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite & Sharepoint. Skilled with picking up new systems with ease
  • XERO experience preferrable
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise a changing workload
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Highly motivated, a self starter who can work independently
Remuneration & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of upwards of $75k to 80k+superannuation, negotiable for the right candidate
The client is also open to a part time working arrangement & flexibility, which would be pro-rata across a flexible part time working week.
