Job Description

This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced Water Engineer looking to progress their career with a Leading Water Engineering Team in a Global Consultancy working on water and wastewater engineering projects.

Principal Water Engineer
  • Design management including development and execution of drawings, data sheets and functional
  • Performs calculation checking and equipment vendor drawing reviews
  • Participation in reviews like CHAIR and HAZOP
  • Mentor, lead and guide a group of process engineers
  • Interact with all stakeholders including client and vendors
  • Increase revenue of the area / business including margins
  • Develop and grow the team technically – this is key for our client development and strengthening in the process design space
About You
  • Bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications, preferably CPEng
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Lead Engineer in at least 2 projects with a team of 3-5 people.
  • Must be capable of leading engineering and multi-discipline teams through all design phases
  • Hands on experience in Mass Balance/Design basis//Equipment Sizing/PFD/P&ID/Hydraulics/PDS.
  • Working experience with process modelling software e.g. BIOWIN will be favoured.
  • Working experience with hydraulic network modelling software e.g. InfoWorks, Water/Sewer GEMS will be favoured.
