Job Description

Our client, one of the fastest growing engineering consultancies in Australia are seeking a Principle Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Services team. 

This multidisciplinary organisation, who have offices in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane require a Principle to lead their electrical discipline for NSW. 

Reporting into the  General Manager - Building Services, and General Manager - Projects. You will be responsible for the following; 

  • Lead the design and documentation of engineering services, for all NSW mechanical projects 
  • Coach and mentor small team - growing the technical capability of the electrical discipline.
  • Liaise and consult with Clients, Project Managers, Architects
  • Strengthen client relationships & create new relationships to bring in new business 
  • Partner with other Discipline Leads to support the growth of the NSW building services team.
To be a good fit for this role, it's important that you;
  • CPEng or NER - essential 
  • 10+ years local experience in Building Services
  • Possess a strong understanding of relevant Australian building codes & relevant practices.
  • Have full Australian working rights 
  • Experience in business development - with a solid network of clients
  • Management skills - exposure to leading a small team
  • Have a sound understanding of multi-disciplines
  • Passionate about engineering.
