Job Description

This company is growing across a couple of states and is looking to recruit a new team member.

They have a friendly environment with some great housing projects in the pipeline.

Due to an increased workload they're looking for a Project Coordinator to work between the office, all internal and external team, councils and clients. 


• Updating customers on progress and responding to questions 
• Processing variations, obtaining plans for construction, submitting approvals  • Create BASIX report 
• Obtaining DAs and deal with councils 
• Send/receive and save quotes & obtain compliance certificates from suppliers
• Organising colour selections
• Generate and send purchase orders & send invoices for progress payments
• Allocation of trades and suppliers to projects
• Liaising with internal staff and external consultants to obtain required documents

Your experience/background:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a construction administrator, supervisor, draftsperson, project coordinator within the construction industry 
• Relevant construction tertiary education 
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (must learn new softwares)
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal (you'll be on the phone a lot and in front of clients)
• Know how to read relevant construction documentation such as working drawings
